Who He Is
Steve Campanelli is a YouTube creator with a background in psychology who began covering @Rapture2025Confirmation in April 2026, following the April 4/5 date failure. He produced nine videos naming Christy directly in the April–May 2026 period — making him the most prolific critic to publicly engage her channel by name.
His framing is consistently psychological rather than theological: he applies observable behavioral patterns rather than doctrinal counterargument, and he is careful to note the limits of non-clinical analysis.
“I rarely throw out the term narcissist cause it’s usually slander but even by observation on her you can see the sliding scale. I don’t need a diagnostic manual for her.”
He had prior connection with Tyana (@tyanaleek) through TikTok, and he is the only person in the documented record who spoke with Hlengiwe Mchunu directly, independent of Christy’s claims about her.
The May 14 Incident
On May 14, 2026 — Israel’s 78th birthday, Joshua Mhlakela’s self-declared prophecy deadline — Campanelli called Christy at a personal phone number that had briefly appeared in one of her own public comments.
His stated intent, per Candance’s documentation: a “poke to show her how easy it is… just to say hi to her. Not threatening. Just being like, hey there.”
Christy’s response: she contacted local law enforcement, who then contacted Steve. She subsequently published his phone number in a comment asking followers to flood him with calls and texts — the post was deleted approximately ten minutes later, but screenshots were captured before deletion.
Her husband David posted publicly in Steve’s YouTube comment section that he held a concealed carry permit and that Christy was “a good shot.”
His Role in the Documented Record
Campanelli is a primary source in three significant ways:
1. The doxxing documentation. His channel captured the public number post in real time. The timeline — Christy posts number, asks followers to flood him, deletes post after approximately ten minutes — is documented through his and Candance’s simultaneous recording.
2. The Korah threat deployment context. Christy named him directly as an “evil servant” (Matthew 24:48-51) in her May 14 return video: “We’ve got Steve Campanelli that’s now calling my personal phone number and stalking me. Well, he would be an evil servant.” The explicit naming of a living individual in the Matthew 24 “evil servant” framing — beaten and cast to the outer darkness — is documented in his channel’s context.
3. Independent Hlengiwe contact. Campanelli spoke with Hlengiwe Mchunu directly and confirmed it in a May 11, 2026 comment:
“Christy ran her mouth and put words in Hlengiwe’s mouth. I’ve talked with Hlengiwe. Christy hasn’t.”
This is the only documented instance of direct independent contact with Hlengiwe in the public record. It matters because Christy’s entire “three prophets” framework depends on Hlengiwe’s endorsement — which Campanelli’s direct contact suggests was never given.
His Post–May 14 Statements
After the May 14 deadline passed, Campanelli stated publicly that if the World Cup opens on June 11 without event, he might direct people to call the Deurloo household en masse. The statement was recorded; its intended meaning (pressure, demonstration, continuation of his “it’s easy to find you” framing) is documented but not independently verified as to intent.
Rebutting the September 2026 Trumpets Convergence
As multiple tracked channels converged on a September 11, 2026 Feast of Trumpets rapture date (see The RaptureTok Ecosystem), Campanelli published “Feast of trumpets rapture 2026 9 / 11 confirmed !!!!?” and a same-day follow-up, “Feast of trumpets rapture 2026 cont. 9 / 11 rapture” (captured Sept 4, 2026), directly rejecting the date and dismissing the pattern of channels naming it: “I have been covering the rapture and the brother Joshua fiasco for about 10 months now. And I’m going to tell you right now that there will be no rapture on September 11th. … You don’t have to watch any more dates. You don’t have to watch any more of the rapture cults channels.” Consistent with his role since the April/May 2026 coverage of Christy, he remains the most direct on-record critic pushing back against date claims as they’re made.
A community post captured Sept 14, 2026 mocks a new October rapture prediction he attributes to “Joshua”: “As for Joshuas new video I will 1 billion percent guarantee there will be no rapture in the entire month of October and his gullible simps will continue the grift into January.” The post doesn’t name a channel by handle, but it was captured the same night Exodus 2025 (Joshua Mhlakela) published a video naming an October 12-13, 2026 date — the same figure Campanelli has rebutted directly before (see above).
A newer community post (captured Sept 17, 2026) broadens the critique beyond a single figure, mocking the pattern of conflicting calendars and dream-based predictions across the wider community — naming Angela of La Voz De Clamor directly alongside others in the same post — for never landing on a correct date: “Why haven’t these people figured out by now that when there is three calanders adding Joshua adding holly and every vain imagination and dreams from everyone on n the Internet and Angela and dawn etc. blood moon dreams two moon dreams sliver moon dreams feast days pagan feast days etc That by the time your done you don’t know what day your on what month you are on and you just go round and round and never get anywhere you’d think by now they would have gotten this.”
On September 22, 2026 — the one-year anniversary of Joshua Mhlakela’s original September 23, 2025 date — Campanelli marked the anniversary with a new video and a community post noting his own annual cadence: “I’m dropping my September 23rd videos today as usual three days before the original date.” The same day, he called out @WeFlySoon2025 directly for a pattern of wrong predictions, citing a previously claimed “jubilee” date and a run of posts naming September 23rd “every month… up until around April”: “Let’s not forget @WeFlySoon2025 said last year was a jubilee to and has done this for years and will continue being wrong every time he also said every month last year was September 23rd up until around April.”
A community post captured Sept 23, 2026 mocks Daniel Chung — the figure documented in Joshua’s own failed-dates record for the “FINAL DATE” (May 17–18, 2026) — over a repeated pattern of returning with new dates: “Ladies and gentlemen I predicted Daniel chung would return today with a new date I must be a prophet 😆😆😆” A second post the same day relays, skeptically, a rapture-tomorrow claim attributed to a self-described “second arrow” follower of Joshua Mhlakela’s community: “Now there’s a woman on here calling herself the second arrow lol and Joshuas followers are eating it up she says the rapture is tomorrow…even by logic if God told Joshua he was the last arrow does God need a female counterpart like he man and she ra does he need a female equivalent”
A community post captured Sept 28, 2026 directly mocks Rapture 2025 Confirmation (Christy) ahead of an upcoming October date, citing her record of prior failed predictions: “So if you can stomach her I want you to pay attention to everything Rapture2025Confirmation says in her video cause we’re gonna see once again on October 11th who is and who isn’t hearing from God… but we all know you will not cause Christy has already failed twice already in a mere 12 months of being a so called prophet that’s a terrible batting average already.” A second post the same day mocks @WeFlySoon2025 and “the Joshua cult” over a reinterpreted “last arrow” message: “I swear the Joshua cult and WeFlySoon2025 are something else lol now they are saying the last arrow could have misinterpreted the message.” Both posts land the same week Rapture 2025 Confirmation published its own video defending Joshua Mhlakela’s timing against outside criticism.
A community post captured Sept 29, 2026 predicts, mockingly, that Daniel Chung — the figure documented in Joshua’s own failed-dates record for the “FINAL DATE” (May 17-18, 2026) — will set yet another date within two days: “I have another prophetic word…Daniel chung will set another date in exactly less than 2 days.”
A community post captured Oct 2, 2026 mocks Daniel Chung again, this time over a claimed sighting of a raccoon as a new rapture sign, referencing an earlier “dead hamster” sign he says Chung cited months before: “That’s it folks …it’s official the rapture is definitely happening Daniel chung had a raccoon confirmation…forget the dead hamster confirmation months ago this is the ultimate.”
A separate community post the same night calls out @WeFlySoon2025 (Walter Ross) directly over “no discernment,” citing the Joshua movement’s own past May 4th rapture-date claim as evidence of a pattern of being wrong: “…especially Walter Ross @WeFlySoon2025 who has no discernment whatsoever … now the sane spirits are at work with the Joshua movement telling people the rapture was May 4th and other instances.”
A community post captured Oct 3, 2026 calls out @THELASTGENERATION-o8m and “the cult” directly over a disputed “rapture this weekend” claim: “So once again @THELASTGENERATION-o8m and the cult are gonna fall for yet another lie rather than believe the true prophets of the Lord and what gods word says there will be absolutely no rapture this weekend God has already spoken you guys love lies.”
A community post captured Oct 10, 2026 predicts that @Rapture2025Confirmation and @WeFlySoon2025 will move their dates: “T minus 2 days before the rapture false date electric slide and goal post moving from @Rapture2025Confirmation @WeFlySoon2025 and others it’s gonna slide from the 13th till the 25th all successfully failing”. A second post relays a new date from another person’s dream and mocks the dream’s source, “sister Angela”: “Now we have a woman saying God told her in a dream cause of sister Angela ( who’s had 15 dreams that have not come to pass ) the rapture is January 25th…so that’s a rapture in October November December and January”.
A community post captured Oct 13, 2026, the last day of the October 11–13 window, mocks the date-sliding he expects once it passes, addressing @WeFlySoon2025: “Let the sliding dates commence the excuses are already rolling in @WeFlySoon2025 will believe them to 😆😆” The same capture includes a video titled “October 12, 2026” with a hashtag-only description.
A community post captured Oct 13, 2026 addresses @Rapture2025Confirmation directly about her newly posted October 18–19 date (see Failed Dates Timeline): “@Rapture2025Confirmation no Christy you are not getting raptured on October 18th either with more of your lies and delusions and after October you’ll have to come up with. More excuses and more feast and more delay”
Community posts captured Oct 14, 2026, the day after the October 11–13 window ended, address @Rapture2025Confirmation and predict a new failure for October 15: “Remember according to Christy deruloo tonight’s the night I want you to be on the lookout for her riding up to the second heaven on her broom to return in Joel’s army” and “…is about to vindicate Joshua tomorrow with her 5th failed calendar guess stay tuned !!! Spoiler alert the date fails lol … the sequel will be the same as the original coming in November”. A third post says he has “been given another vision about Joshua from one of my own inner circle prophetic counsel” and will share it “in a few days”; the post gives no content.
A community post captured Oct 22, 2026 addresses @Rapture2025Confirmation over her use of the “master on a long journey” passage (see Failed Dates Timeline and The Groom’s Twelve Months): “Now @Rapture2025Confirmation new grift is mis using the scriptures about the master on a long journey is now up to 18 months these people are disgusting liars that will do anything not to admit they are decived and deciving others”
A community post captured Oct 17, 2026, the day after the October 16–17 dates, mocks Joshua Mhlakela and addresses @WeFlySoon2025: “@WeFlySoon2025 Walter maybe the sesame street calander was the real calander the demon gave your idol Joshua since your Jesus can’t get time right 😆 maybe the women’s diaper changing world cup hasn’t passed yet”
Two community posts captured Oct 23, 2026 (published Oct 22) address Joshua’s October 23 date. The first offers a bet: “So now Jesus has showed up in a dream with Joshua in the dream proclaiming October 23rd is the rapture who wants to bet me it won’t happen”. The second is addressed to another account and says of Joshua: “the demon that decived Joshua openly I have several videos covering this nobody cares about this mythical Enoch calendar”. It predicts the recipient “you’ll be here in November and December”.
