The Claim
In his May 14, 2026 community post — the day of his own declared final deadline — Joshua attributed the following directly to Jesus:
“THERE WILL BE NO WORLD CUP 2026 FOR LIFE WILL NOT BE BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR THOSE LEFT BEHIND” — Jesus’ Own Words.
In his May 15, 2026 video, titled “2026 WORLD EVENT WILL SHOCK MANY — B4 SOCCER WORLD CUP”, he made the claim the centrepiece of his public messaging. The video generated 3,000 views and 420 likes within 24 hours — his highest engagement since the October 2025 peak.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup opens on June 11, 2026 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Two Prophets, One Deadline
Joshua is not the only figure who has publicly committed to June 11 as a terminal date. Christy Williams Deurloo (@Rapture2025Confirmation) stated explicitly in a May 17, 2026 community post:
“The physical rapture of the church occurs before June 11, 2026 at God’s perfect timing.”
This was published on the same day Daniel Chung’s “FINAL DATE” passed in silence. Christy was actively commenting on other channels throughout this period — the statement was not incidental. She independently committed to the same external proof point Joshua named.
Two prophets. One fixed external event. Neither arrived at the date through the same theological route — Joshua through a direct attributed word of Jesus, Christy through her Exodus 12:2 calendar framework and door-closed theology. Both converge on June 11.
Why This Claim Is Different
Every previous failed deadline had a built-in escape: calendar corrections, prophesied delays, Hebrew vs. Gregorian discrepancies, the Three Phases framework. These reframes worked because they introduced ambiguity about what the date meant.
The World Cup claim has different structural properties:
It is externally fixed. The World Cup schedule was set years in advance by FIFA. No calendar correction changes June 11. No delay framework applies to a sporting event. The opening match is not subject to prophetic interpretation.
He attributed it to Jesus personally. Previous claims were his understanding of a vision or a calculation. This one is stated as Jesus’ own words, verbatim. If the World Cup begins on June 11, the claim is not just wrong — it is a falsely attributed statement of Jesus that he published publicly.
His community knows the date. Multiple commenters in the May 15 video thread were already noting exactly how many days until the opening match. The countdown is public and universal.
The Community Response

Some supporters offered pre-emptive reframes even in the comments:

The reframe infrastructure was already being constructed in the comments before the date had arrived.
Update — June 9: The Pivot Arrived Before the Date
On June 9, 2026 — two days before the World Cup opening match — Joshua published a short titled “WORLD🏆CUP CANCELLED BY PENTECOST RAPTURE(22-23)_THE END OF THE CHURCH AGE” (998 views, 70 likes, 91 comments within hours of capture). Image/text-based, no spoken transcript.
The new date, Pentecost (June 22–23, 2026), falls after the World Cup opens. This pre-empts the falsification: by the time June 11 arrives, Joshua has already moved the proof point past it, so the opening match being played is no longer presented as the test.
This matches Scenario A below — but earlier than anticipated. Previous reframes followed a failure by hours or days. This reframe was published before the proof point could even fail. The community noticed: top comments on the June 9 short recite the full list of prior failed dates back to September 2025.
Whether this pre-emptive pivot holds once the opening match is actually played and observed by his audience — or whether a further statement follows on June 11 itself — is part of what the June 12 update below will document.
What Happens on June 11
Three scenarios, in rough order of probability based on the documented pattern:
Scenario A — A new reframe appears before June 11. The window shifts to during the World Cup, or to its conclusion, or to a related prophetic calculation. The claim that “no World Cup” means the rapture happens before the opening can be reframed as happening during or the tournament being cut short. This would be consistent with every previous failure.
Scenario B — Silence, then return. The channel goes quiet around June 11, returns a few weeks later with a new theological framework that absorbs the failure. This is what Harold Camping did after 2011.
Scenario C — Acknowledgment and withdrawal. The least historically common trajectory. A public acknowledgment that the prophecy was wrong and retirement from prophetic ministry. Documented in some millenarian leaders but rare at this scale.
What is unlikely: that the community dissolves immediately. The most invested members have structured their worldview around this framework for nine months. The reframe capacity documented across this record is substantial. June 11 is a hard wall, but the walls have moved before.
June 11, 2026 — Outcome
The World Cup opened as scheduled on June 11, 2026. Among the opening-day matches, South Africa — Joshua’s home country — lost 0-2 to Mexico. The “THERE WILL BE NO WORLD CUP 2026” statement, attributed verbatim to Jesus, is falsified: not by interpretation, but by the tournament being played and broadcast worldwide.
Joshua’s response: Scenario A from the list above — a reframe had already appeared, on June 9, two days before the date even arrived (see “Update — June 9” above). On June 11 itself, rather than addressing the now-falsified claim, Joshua published a further short, “THE END_TRUE PENTECOST RAPTURE DATE 21-22 JUNE” (3.9K views, 148 likes, 239 comments), which refines the June 9 pivot — moving the target one day earlier, from June 22–23 to June 21–22 — with no reference to the World Cup proof point having failed. The reframe-before-failure has itself now been reframed again, before its own window arrived.
Christy’s response: No new video or community post as of the June 12 capture (most recent post June 9). Her own stated deadline — rapture “before June 11, 2026” — has passed without acknowledgment. See Failed Dates Timeline for the June 11 entry.
External accountability: Two figures with direct prior involvement in this community both used June 11 as the occasion for public statements that the prophecy has failed:
- Medic4Christ (@medic4christ777), who hosted Joshua’s September 23, 2025 livestream and later apologized publicly for his role (see The Broadcaster), published “The World Cup Has Arrived…” on June 12 — explicitly calling Joshua “a con man, a liar” who “doesn’t even believe his own prophecy,” citing the June 9 pre-emptive pivot as proof: “Two days before the World Cup even began, he was already changing his prophecy because he knew it wasn’t going to come true.”
- Steve Campanelli (@stevecampanelli6009) published “World cup begins” on June 12, noting South Africa’s opening-day loss as “prophetic” irony and calling the overall episode “probably the biggest deception I’ve seen in 20 years.”

The falsification standard Joshua set:
“THERE WILL BE NO WORLD CUP 2026 FOR LIFE WILL NOT BE BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR THOSE LEFT BEHIND” — Jesus’ Own Words.
The World Cup happened. This statement, attributed verbatim to Jesus, did not come to pass — and the channel has not addressed the discrepancy, instead moving directly to refining the date it had already pivoted to two days earlier.
June 16, 2026 — The Reframe
Five days after the opening match, Joshua published “REFLECTING ON THE EXODUS 2.0 AND THE WORLD CUP” (18:34, 2.9K views, 415 likes, 312 comments) — his first full-length video in weeks and the formal doctrinal response to the failed proof point.
“Exodus 2.0” — official rebranding. He names this phase of the journey “Exodus 2.0” — the nine months from September 2025 through the present reframed as a spiritual journey mirroring Israel’s original exodus (which began on Passover and was completed at Pentecost). June 21-22 is the completion point. The prior failed dates are not errors; they are waypoints on the journey.
The “no trophy” redefinition. The central move: the original verbatim-from-Jesus claim (“THERE WILL BE NO WORLD CUP 2026”) is retroactively redefined. From the transcript:
“When God said there will be no World Cup, meaning the trophy 2026, he was saying the feast in the midst of the World Cup will be the final day of the rapture of the church and the world cup would not reach the trophy point.”
The claim is no longer that the tournament would not begin — it is that the rapture happens before the final on July 19, so the World Cup would not reach the trophy presentation. This interpretation did not appear in the original May 14 community post, in the May 15 video, or in any prior content. It surfaces here, five days after the tournament began.
The Three Phases framework applied to the World Cup itself. From the transcript:
“And now with the start of the World Cup, it looks the prophecy looks to be going through the dying phase. And this is when it is about to resurrect to be fulfilled like our Lord rose from the dead.”
The World Cup’s existence — the event that was supposed to not happen at all — is now classified as the Dying Phase, which precedes the Resurrection Phase (fulfilment on June 21-22). The framework designed to absorb date failures absorbs the World Cup’s opening in the same operation.
Critics addressed obliquely. Medic4Christ and Campanelli are not named. The response is theological: “The devil wants people to feel deceived while they are not and all this to steal their crown.”
A stated fallback already on record. From comment @petrquest5462 in the June 16 video thread: Joshua stated in the CENTTWINZ interview that “on September 24, 2026, it will be clear to everyone whether he is a false prophet or not” and that “his prophecy is valid until the 77th.” If accurate, this suggests a fallback position — the September 2025 anniversary date and an unspecified “77th” framing — was embedded in his foundational interview before the current Pentecost window was named. This has not been independently verified from the archived CENTTWINZ transcript.
Pre-emptive pivot to Fall 2026 already in the community. From @LightforChrist in the same thread: “I am watching for a one year Exodus — in the fall.” A Fall 2026 window is already being seeded in the community before June 21-22 has arrived — consistent with the documented pattern in which the next reframe is prepared before the current deadline resolves.
